ADDIE'S STORY
Addie's journey in health and wellness spans over three decades, grounded in a passion for helping others regain strength and mobility. With a 34-year career as an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist, Addie has cultivated deep expertise in rehabilitation. Her extensive experience from Michigan to her current work in Fort Walton Beach reflects her commitment to patient care and improving lives.
Originally from Southeastern Michigan, Addie relocated to the Florida Panhandle in 2021. Having enjoyed Pilates for many years, she recognized its value as a complement to her rehabilitation work and decided to pursue her Pilates education in earnest. She has completed all the Balance Body Reformer Training Sessions and is diligently working on her student teaching hours. Addie plans to achieve a Comprehensive Certification, including Reformer, Mat, Trapeze Table/Cadillac or Tower, Chair, and Barrel.

Addie’s teaching philosophy is deeply influenced by her rehabilitation background. She views Pilates as a powerful tool for fitness, recovery, and injury prevention. As she works to master the Reformer, Addie is eager to integrate her knowledge of rehabilitation into her Pilates practice, offering a unique and therapeutic approach to her clients.
Living in Niceville with her husband, two sons, and two beloved dogs, Addie is passionate about real foods and is a strong advocate for supporting local, organic, and regenerative farms. Her commitment to holistic well-being, combined with her professional background, makes her a dedicated and empathetic instructor, focused on guiding her clients towards improved health and vitality.
Addie is enthusiastic about the journey ahead and looks forward to sharing the transformative benefits of Pilates with her community.
